Our modern Lubbock clinic specializes in family dentistry with state-of-the-art equipment. You'll work alongside experienced professionals while learning chairside assisting, patient education, and sterilization protocols. We value compassion, teamwork, and a willingness to learn above all else.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument passing, suction, and patient monitoring
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide post-procedure instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Order inventory and manage stock levels for dental supplies
- Collaborate with hygienists and front desk staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – we train all new hires!
- Basic computer skills for digital record management
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle light physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service attitude
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification (provided)
- Attention to detail and commitment to infection control protocols
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
