Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve client wellbeing
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light housekeeping duties
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
Qualifications
- No experience required - we provide all necessary training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and health screenings
- Compassionate nature and patience working with elderly/disabled
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to obtain NYS Home Health Aide certification (provided)
