Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using ESI protocols in high-volume emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians to develop rapid treatment plans for critical cases
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for real-time patient tracking and documentation
- Train and mentor junior triage staff on best practices and compliance
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for patient flow
- Handle complex psychiatric, pediatric, and geriatric triage scenarios
Qualifications
- BSN or higher with current Florida RN license (required)
- 5+ years emergency department or critical care experience
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or TNCC certification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ESI triage scale and emergency protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems and telehealth integration
