Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as neededMonitor client vital signs and report changes to clinical supervisor
- Provide light housekeeping services (laundry, tidying, meal cleanup)
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document care activities accurately in client records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Compassionate nature with patience for elderly/disabled clients
- Reliable transportation to client assignments
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- No prior healthcare experience required
