Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements and patient intake screenings
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
- Administer injections and EKG procedures
- Schedule patient appointments and handle insurance verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Recent medical assistant program graduate preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (training provided)
- CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
