Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs measurement and EKG recordings
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Assist with sterile processing and inventory management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or willingness to complete
- CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and EMR experience preferred
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Must pass background check and drug screening
