Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including patient preparation, specimen collection, and vital sign monitoring
- Perform administrative tasks including patient scheduling, medical record management, and insurance verification
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of medical equipment
- Provide compassionate patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
- Coordinate laboratory services and diagnostic testing referrals
- Support electronic health records (EHR) documentation with HIPAA compliance
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong communication skills with ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
