Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and medical records
- Maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Educate patients on treatment plans and medication instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
