Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately record patient history and vital signs in EHR systems
- Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tests
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clean exam rooms
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
- Handle insurance verification and basic billing tasks
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- CPR/BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Proficient with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Washington State MA certification (or eligible)
