Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Perform vital signs measurements and EKG screenings
- Administer injections and prepare patients for treatments
- Manage patient flow and maintain examination rooms
- Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Coordinate lab specimens and diagnostic testing
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (will provide training)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
