As a Medical Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our clinical operations, supporting providers and ensuring seamless patient care. We welcome motivated individuals with a passion for healthcare – no prior experience required! Our 6-week onboarding program covers all essential skills, including clinical procedures, patient communication, and electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy under supervision
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records (EHR)
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- CPR certification (will provide training if needed)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored training
