Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests under supervision
- Manage patient records using electronic health systems (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications professionally
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and strict patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- CPR certification (will be provided if needed)
