Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently at the front desk.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and basic medical procedures.
- Take and accurately record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, weight).
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment for daily use.
- Manage patient charts and electronic health records (EHR) with strict confidentiality.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians and RNs.
- Coordinate with the billing department to ensure accurate insurance claims processing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when assisting patients.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills are preferred.
- CPR Certification is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
