Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and basic procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs accurately (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage the reception area.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens as directed.
- Answer phone inquiries and direct messages to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (typing and navigating software).
- Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but will train the right candidate.
