Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and treatments.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Measure and record patient vital signs, height, and weight.
- Prepare patients for examination and escort them to treatment rooms.
- Update and maintain patient medical records and charts.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by a provider.
- Maintain a clean and organized examination room environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting preferred (Entry level candidates encouraged).
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of electronic health records.
