Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Administer injections and perform basic lab tests
- Document patient information in EHR systems accurately
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
