Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and obtain medical histories accurately.
- Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer injections and medications under strict physician supervision.
- Manage patient records, including updating Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with EHR systems is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (training provided).
