Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including patient preparation, vital sign monitoring, and specimen collection
- Manage patient flow, check-ins, and appointment scheduling efficiently
- Accurately maintain electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments per infection control protocols
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and assist with basic laboratory procedures
- Provide compassionate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
