Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare patients for appointments, take vital signs, and update medical records
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKG procedures
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Schedule patient appointments and manage phone inquiries
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate with insurance providers for billing and coding
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA or Medical Assistant certification preferred)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
