Responsibilities
- Process insurance claims and patient billing using Epic EMR systems
- Verify patient demographics and insurance coverage accuracy
- Resolve billing discrepancies through insurance portals and direct communication
- Assist with coding assignments using ICD-10/CPT guidelines
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and audit trails
- Collaborate with providers to clarify coding ambiguities
- Track A/R metrics and report weekly performance
