Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Prepare IV medications and sterile compounds (training provided)
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No pharmacy experience necessary – we train!
- Basic computer proficiency and strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must obtain Kansas Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days of hire
- Willingness to obtain PTCB certification (company-sponsored)
