Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under supervision in medical-surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient assessments in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for coordinated patient plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control standards
- Participate in 24/7 rotational coverage including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- Active New Mexico RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Passing score on NCLEX exam (or scheduled within 90 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
