Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, hospital policies, and safety protocols
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Current RN license in Colorado or ability to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
