Responsibilities
- Del compassionate patient care across multiple departments including med-surg, telemetry, and emergency services
- Implement evidence-based nursing practices while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Mentor nursing students and new graduates as part of our teaching hospital mission
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse license (RN)
- ADN or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of clinical rotation in acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
