Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units under RN supervision
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic treatment plans
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to charge nurses promptly
- Participate in hospital orientation and skills competency programs
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active Ohio RN license (or eligible upon graduation)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within 6 months
- Basic knowledge of electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/nights
