Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings under clinical supervision
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments and care plans using our advanced EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in emergency response and critical care procedures as skills develop
- Adhere to all JCAHO standards and hospital safety protocols
- Complete residency program rotations across diverse clinical units
Qualifications
- ADN or BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (within 6 months of graduation)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
