Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient monitoring and virtual consultations
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed across all care settings
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years acute care experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- 1+ years weekend shift experience in hospital or urgent care setting
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs
