Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, infection control standards, and hospital policies
- Participate in shift handovers and emergency response protocols
- Maintain patient safety through continuous monitoring and intervention
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Clinical rotation experience in hospital or acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic medical documentation systems
