Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical-surgical units with 24/7 nursing support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Complete annual clinical competency validations and continuing education
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required
- Active Wisconsin RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Pass NCLEX exam within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- No prior nursing experience required – new graduates encouraged
