Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse clinical units including Med-Surg, ICU, and emergency departments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety standards
- Participate in shift handovers and unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program within the last 2 years
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
