Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with either ADN or BSN degree
- Active Nevada RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
