Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care with compassion and clinical excellence
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge plans
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible to obtain)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotations in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Passion for serving underserved populations
