Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Med-Surg, ICU, and ER departments under preceptor guidance
- Administer medications and treatments accurately using EMR systems (Epic)
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in real-time
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Participate in shift handoffs and safety huddles
- Complete mandatory training modules and competency evaluations
- Adhere to JCAHO and hospital infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact license)
- NCLEX-RN pass required
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Graduation within last 2 years or less than 1 year clinical experience
- Basic knowledge of Epic EMR systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
