Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations accurately and safely
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive care
- Assist in emergency response situations and code blue activations
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and care coordination activities
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active North Carolina RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- BLS certification from AHA required (ACLS preferred)
- Passing score on NCLEX-RN examination
- Basic proficiency with electronic health record systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments
