Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, treatment implementation, and documentation
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and response to interventions using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge protocols
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards in all clinical practices
- Participate in shift handoffs and care coordination with nursing leadership
- Complete mandatory training and maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS)
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Oregon Registered Nurse license or eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
