Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on assessment, monitoring, and intervention
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS/BLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Graduation within the last 12 months or less than 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with attention to detail
