Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse clinical settings including medical-surgical, telemetry, and emergency departments
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in shift handovers and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Qualifications
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within the last 12 months
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC experience preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
