Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain upon hire
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records
- Willingness to rotate shifts and weekends as needed
