Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient observations and treatment progress in electronic health records
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Participate in shift handovers and unit safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Maryland
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program (within 12 months)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
