Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings under RN supervision
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Adhere to JCAHO, HIPAA, and hospital policy compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required
- Active Colorado RN license or eligible to obtain
- Recent nursing graduate (within 12 months) or 1 year experience
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety protocols
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
