Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and document medical observations accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care strategies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and care coordination activities
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible to sit for NCLEX)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Completion of nursing clinical rotations within the last 12 months
- Basic knowledge of electronic health record systems (EPIC experience a plus)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
