Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care following evidence-based nursing practices and established protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions with precision
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to treatments, and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health systems
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Valid California RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments
