Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Participate in rapid response team activations and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- Active Texas RN license (or eligibility to obtain immediately)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Clinical rotation experience in medical-surgical or emergency setting
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
