Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Completion of clinical rotations within 6 months
- BLS certification (provided if not currently held)
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed
