Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing standards
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handovers and patient care conferences
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license (or eligible to obtain upon hire)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited institution
- New graduates or RNs with less than 1 year of experience encouraged to apply
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred, will provide training)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Passion for patient-centered care and continuous learning
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency with healthcare systems
