Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Administer emergency interventions under physician guidance
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active California RN license
- BLS certification required
- New graduates and nurses with <1 year experience encouraged
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments
- Basic proficiency with electronic health record systems
