Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to maintain a sterile environment
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
