Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to physicians
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
- Previous clinical experience preferred but not required for new graduates
