Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in cardiac telemetry units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license (or compact license)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Passing NCLEX-RN exam
- CPR certification
- Basic EHR proficiency
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
