Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical units under supervision
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Provide patient/family education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active TN RN license or eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends
- Passion for serving underserved populations preferred
- Basic EHR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
